Transitioning Advanced Manufacturing Technology for an Affordable Fleet

Objective:  The two-day event targets the domestic shipbuilding industry, its supplier base, U.S. Navy Program Offices, and Navy-sponsored shipbuilding research programs. ShipTech is a forum to exchange information on the manufacturing technology developments generated by Navy ManTech through its Centers of Excellence, as well as the related initiatives conducted by the National Shipbuilding Research Program, industry and academia. The objective of the conference is to reduce acquisition and total ownership costs of naval ships while enhancing the competitiveness of the U.S. shipbuilding industry.

Attendees:

  • This meeting is intended for management and technical personnel involved in shipbuilding processes and technologies. Participants include U.S. Navy technical organizations, industry, and academia.
  • Attendance is limited to U.S. military, U.S. government employees and U.S. citizens and permanent residents with an active Joint Certification Program number.
  • Registration is limited.
